OAK’D BBQ is a craft BBQ restaurant, smoking daily Central Texas style BBQ. We offer locals a relaxed, warm Texas atmosphere to enjoy BBQ, cocktails, and house-baked pastries. We specialize stay true to our Texas roots by using fresh ingredients to create simple, yet modern Texas dishes. The simplicity of some of our dishes means that our team must care about the quality of our products, having fun while we put love and consistency into every aspect of what we produce!
We are seeking a dependable, focused and outgoing individual to work in our busy, well-established restaurant bar. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking an excellent job in the top BBQ restaurant in Texas.
We are in search of individuals with the following skills and will take on the following responsibilities:
2+ years of experience tending bar in a high-end and fast-paced environment
Solid background knowledge of spirits, contemporary cocktails, beer and some wines
Highly committed to a premium level of quality
Complete knowledge of all food and beverage items
Maintains bar spotless and well stocked at all times
Provide cash settlement of bar checks following all cash handling policies and procedures
Answer phone and take orders
Assist other employees when needed, excels in teamwork
Skilled at developing and creating beverage experience that drive customer satisfaction and loyalty
Must be able to stand and walk for duration of shift
Must be able to lift, carry and maneuver up to 50 lbs
Must be at least 21 years old TIPS certified; bar licenses
Compensation and Benefits: Both full and part-time positions are available. We offer competitive pay base + tips.
Location: We are currently hiring at our Dallas and Addison locations.
